Green Building Rating System (L.E.E.D.), developed by the World Green Building Council provides a suite of standards for environmentally sustainable construction. Super-Seal Mfg. Ltd. believes in creating innovative products which increase productivity while saving energy for a sustainable future. Thus, Super-Seal Mfg. Ltd. became a member of the Canadian Chapter: Canadian Green Building Council (CaGBC) in July of 2011.
L.E.E.D., which stands for Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design, is a certification program focused primarily on new, commercial-building projects and based upon a points system. The more points you earn, the higher your rating. We at Super-Seal work closely with our dealers and with their clients to ensure we find the best product that meets their custom designs and/or green building projects.
There are many government grants which focus on assisting these Green Practice Development Projects as well as upgrading existing building structures.
