Super Seals’ exclusive Rain Deflector is the perfect solution to keep your loading dock and products dry in inclement weather. The Rain Deflector acts like an umbrella for your loading dock, by providing shelter across the top of the trailer, thus directing the rain off to the sides of the trailer. RD2 Rain Deflector can be used in conjunction with or without a dock seal.

RD2 standard dimensions for typical door seals on a door open 8′ W x 10′ H are 11’8” W x 11′ H x 34” projection with 26” (single pad) or 36″ (double pad) curtain drop.

With a dock height of 48” the RD2 seals trailers from 12′ to 13’6” high from grade. The RD2 can be designed to suit a large variety of oversized door opening heights, widths and or dock projections.

Super Seal’s RD2 header unit framework is manufactured either using pressure treated wood or constructed of 1- 1/2” x 1-1/2” galvanized steel tubing with galvanized side brackets and covered with galvanized cladding. The header framework shall be peaked to allow adequate drainage.  The curtain panel has full height fiberglass stays with overlapping wear pleats across the full width of the unique tear drop weighted pad.
